We offer walk-in, same-day or future appointments for children 5 years and above and adults to manage the following conditions and more. Our experienced behavioral health clinicians are certified in child and adolescent psychiatry, and determining factors that affect their thinking, feelings, behaviors and development.
ADHD
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is categorized by difficulty concentrating and following instructions. Symptoms may include impulsivity and/or hyperactivity.
QbCheck Testing for ADHD
QbCheck testing is an objective, FDA-approved clinical test to accurately diagnose ADHD in individuals between 6–60 years old. The test takes approximately 20 minutes to perform, and is a part of the comprehensive assessment process. Our mental health clinician will order the test during your mental health appointment, then the test will be performed virtually using your computer at home. The mental health clinician will interpret the test and discuss results with you.
The QbCheck test is a separate charge and service that is billable to in-network insurances at LifeLine Walk-In Medical & Mental Health Nursing Clinic.
Alcohol Abuse
Overuse of alcohol that leads to alcohol dependence and addiction. Alcoholism can become life-threatening and can lead to cardiovascular, brain and memory, liver and kidney disorders.
Anger
Excessive or abnormal outbursts and aggression. There are various types of anger disorders that can be adequately managed.
Anxiety
An emotion of fear, dread, and uneasiness. There are different severities of anxiety, and some can be debilitating. It may cause restlessness, headaches, heart racing and other symptoms.
Autism
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a disorder of the nervous system that affects how an individual communicates, behaves and interacts with others. Autism can be diagnosed in both children and adults.
Bipolar Disorder
Excessive mood swings with alternating depression and elation. This can make daily tasks, work, school and relationships challenging.
Borderline Personalities Disorder
Characterized by unstable moods and difficulty controlling one’s emotions. These can lead to difficulty maintaining healthy relationships, self destructive behaviors and self harm.
Depression
A mental illness that can affect one’s feelings, thoughts, behavior and overall welfare. Depression is more than just sadness and can adversely influence ones’ relationships, employment, school and well-being.
Eating Disorders
Food intake disorders such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder. These can also contribute to nutritional/vitamin deficiencies. You may also be tested for electrolyte imbalances at your request.
Insomnia
Difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or achieving quality sleep. Insomnia can cause secondary symptoms such as headaches, fatigue and irritability.
Mood/Affective Disorders
An umbrella term for disorders and significant changes in an individuals’ emotional state.
Night Terrors/Nightmares
Recurrent disturbing dreams that are sometimes associated with worry and fear. Often these bad dreams are caused by various psychological triggers such as anxiety or depression.
Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)
A behavior disorder that is mostly diagnosed in childhood. Children with ODD demonstrate patterns of aggression, uncooperative and defiant behavior, and resistance to authority figures such as parents and teachers.
Postpartum Depression
Also known as postnatal depression, or PPD, it is a medical condition that can affect women up to one year after giving birth. Symptoms may include intense feelings of sadness, anxiety, and mood swings, and can be a significant danger for the baby and mother. Other symptoms may include excessive or loss of appetite, crying episodes, lack of energy, and difficulty breastfeeding or baby bonding.
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
A mental health condition that can occur after someone experiences a terrifying or traumatic event. Symptoms can include severe anxiety, fear, flashbacks and nightmares.
Schizophrenia
A mental disorder that includes various psychotic symptoms including delusions, hallucinations, and unreality. It can cause inattention, lack of motivation, and memory issues.
